From the Selkirk Mountains to the Kettle Range, riders can explore diverse winter terrain across Ferry, Stevens, and Pend Oreille counties. Whether you’re new to the sport or a seasoned sledder chasing powder, the region offers thrilling rides and scenic solitude without the crowds.

Access to this winter playground is made easy through ten designated Washington State Sno-Parks: Albian Hill, Empire Lake, Flowery Trail, Kings Lake, Mill Creek, Sand Canyon, Hall Creek, Ninebark, Old Dominion, and Radar Dome. These Sno-Parks provide maintained parking and trail access, with many connecting to expansive groomed trail systems. A valid Sno-Park permit is required. So pack your gear, fuel up, and head for the wonderfully wild snow-covered backroads of Northeast Washington.
